We are very excited to share with you the success of our recent National Lottery Awards for All application for funding to convert our existing toilet facilities to be compliant with the current disabled access regulations.
Social connections and community activities are at the heart of creating healthier, happier lives and a flourishing society. That’s why we support amazing community-led projects.
One of our key aims since securing ownership of the building has been ensuring that we can enable ALL of our community to engage equally and fully participate in activities and the services Beach Creative provides.
Having identified where improvements could be made, we are thrilled that this funding will allow us to widen the ground floor toilet door frames and make other necessary adaptations so that we can install fully accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities.
This is part of a wider programme of building improvements we are trying to facilitate moving into the future.
