Herne Bay in Bloom and Beach Creative showcase the works of 'Plant Graffiti' in our first exhibition of 2025!

The 'Plant Graffiti' community project explores ecology, spirituality and the power of healing with plants, through natural dyes, foraging and textile art.

"Into the Garden we go to Lose our Minds and Free our Souls"

We are starting the New Year with a burst of youthful creativity from Herne Bay Junior School.

The exhibition will feature the work of 110 Year 6 pupils who worked with artist Nick Cobb on studies of insects. The students have used collage, watercolour and experimented with reed-pen ink drawings made with reeds cut from a pond just off the Thanet Way [shown in poster]. In addition - look out for birds of prey, Egyptian gods and more!
