In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, we are delighted to showcase
artwork from the talented sixth-form students at Herne Bay High School.

 

Our exhibition entitled 'Accelerate Action!' will run from the 28th of February to the 13th of March and will
follow the campaign theme for IWD, ‘Diversity’.

This marks our ninth year of working with Herne Bay High School to promote
and elevate the creative and artistic talent of young female artists.

We are Debbie Freeman and Marion Armstrong, working with visual arts and poetry.

 

This exhibition combines our twin loves of nature and colour. We also aim to share          some aspects of our lives, as autistic women, who rediscovered our creativity a little

Our first Open Call of 2025! For this exhibition, the theme is 'Water'.

"Artists have always been interested in the nature of water, apart from being the very crux of life it is visually elusive and at the same time captivating. Colourless and transparent it refracts and reflects our world, presenting an altered reality to beguile us"

We hope to see paintings, photographs, drawings and more! Perhaps of the sea, rain, rivers, baths and tears - people in water, on water - let your imagination flow..

Submissions will be accepted at Beach Creative on Thursday 17 April between 13:00 - 16:00.
